A teenager has been arrested after a "serious assault" at a Paisley shopping centre earlier this month.
The 16-year-old was apprehended by police in connection to an incident at the Piazza shopping centre on Friday, January 19.
We previously reported an incident had taken place at the shopping centre when a 57-year-old man was allegedly attacked outside the toilets.
The teen is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court at a later date.
Posting the news on social media, police said: "A 16-year-old male youth has been arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault on a 57-year-old man at the Piazza shopping centre, Paisley on Friday, 19 January, 2024.
"He is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court at a later date."
