A MAN will stand trial later this year accused of claiming he was a member of the IRA.
Joshua Cooke, 38, allegedly made the remark during an organised protest at Glasgow's George Square on February 5 2023.
Pro and anti-transgender protesters and counter-protesters gathered in George Square that day.

Court papers state Cooke behaved in a threatening or abusive manner and attended a protest.
It is there he is accused of "repeatedly shouting that you were a member of a proscribed terrorist organisation namely the Irish Republican Army."
Cooke was due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday but the matter was administratively adjourned for trial.
The hearing will take place in May.
Cooke, formerly of Glasgow's Tradeston and now of Coventry, remains on bail meantime.
