A boy fell from a seven foot platform at an East Kilbride soft play.
The youngster was rushed to Wishaw General Hospital as police and ambulance crews attended the Wee Play House.
We reported how the incident happened at around 11am on Thursday, February 1.
South Lanarkshire Council then hit the indoor playground with a Prohibition Notice on the use of their equipment.
The local authority confirmed they have “been made aware of additional complaints” which are also being followed up.
The business confirmed the closure and said the well-being of youngsters remains their “top priority”.
The incident has triggered a probe into health and safety at the venue while “upgrades and checks” are put in place.
A spokesperson for Big Partnership said: “We can confirm an ambulance was called on Thursday, February 1, after it was reported that a child fell from an approximate 7ft play platform.
“The little boy was taken to hospital as a precaution and to the best of our knowledge and based on feedback from the medical professionals who attended, he is well.
“Having liaised with the council, we took the decision to fully close the soft play.
“Since then, we have organised for the official UK body for examining, accrediting, and certificating inflatable, indoor and outdoor play to visit us and examine our equipment and will only reopen on their approval.
“During this time, we have also carried out some planned upgrades.
“We would like to underline that the safety of children is paramount to us. Incident forms are completed on site, and we take our responsibility to providing a safe, inclusive space extremely seriously.”
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance service said: “We received a call on Thursday at 1100 hours to attend an incident in East Kilbride.
"We dispatched a paramedic response unit and one ambulance to the scene. We transported one child patient to Wishaw General Hospital.”
A spokesperson for South Lanarkshire Council, said: “After being made aware of the incident by Police Scotland, Environmental Health Officers visited the premises where an assessment of soft play equipment was carried out. “This resulted in a Prohibition Notice being served on the use of the equipment pending a detailed inspection.
“This process is ongoing. The Service has also been made aware of additional complaints, received after the initial notification from Police Scotland and these have been followed up.
“In the meantime, we continue to liaise with the business to ensure ongoing compliance with relevant health and safety legislation.”

Wee Play House released a statement saying: “A minor incident had happened in the soft play as far as our knowledge had no injuries.
“The soft play is closed for a couple of days while the upgrades and safety checks are taking place! As children's safety is our top priority!
“We hope to have everything back to normal soon!
“Please get in touch regarding your booking!
“(Works are not a cover up! Any customers that have visited our place will know that there were a few leaks and the sand pit was changing and reception was being moved!) “We can assure you all details of the incident will be posted once all the safety checks have been cleared.”
