DOZENS of music fans have set up camp outside the OVO Hydro ahead of The 1975’s gig on Thursday night.
Fans of the pop rock band braved the cold to start camping outside the venue from around 7am on Tuesday morning in an effort to be right in front of the stage as the band kicks off the second leg of their Still… At Their Very Best tour.
As of Wednesday (February 7) morning, there were already around 70 fans queueing outside the Finnieston venue, with some having travelled from as far away as Australia.

Cami Wallace, 20, Zoe Rodrigues, 21, and Hannah Garbutt, 20, were the first to arrive and start the queue on Tuesday morning.
They said they decided to come down and start the line as they were "anxious" about when people would start to gather at the venue.
Cami, who comes from just outside London, said: "It’s their connection with the fans [that brings us here].
"How in touch they are with us just makes it."
Hannah, from Middlesborough, added: "I really love the music obviously, Matty’s voice is amazing, but the meaning behind some songs gives me such a connection.
"I don’t think I’d be this far without them. This is what my 12-year-old self would have wanted me to do."
Despite the cold, the trio have enjoyed the camping experience so far and said they were well prepared for the weather.
Cami added: "It’s been fun, I really love it.
"We play a lot of games, we had Dominos. It’s been cold but because we’ve done it so many times we’re prepared, we have five layers on."
Jasmyn Dawkins, 25, travelled to the UK from Melbourne, Australia, on her own to see 19 shows on the tour.
She headed straight to the venue on Tuesday evening after flying into Edinburgh.
She said: "It’s been cold so far, when I left home it was 37 degrees so it’s a little bit of a change but it’s great.
"I’ve met so many amazing people and everyone is from all over."

Jasmyn says while she is a huge of The 1975 she chooses to camp because she "loves" the fans.
She continued: "I love the people around the band, we have such a good community here and you meet these people and you instantly click.
"It’s such an event to come around here and hang out with everyone, there’s something really special about it."
Emi Astles and Olivia MacRae, both 19, both arrived at the venue on Tuesday morning after meeting on last year’s tour in Glasgow.
Emi, from Brighton, says she enjoys camping ahead of The 1975’s gigs to spend time with other fans.
She said: "We want to get as close to them as possible.
"I like camping because I get to spend time with my friends and meet new people.
"It’s a wholesome experience. I’ve made friends for life."
Olivia, who studies in Glasgow, added: "It’s such a good experience.
"We’ll do anything to get to the front because it’s always worth it.
"I’ve never had any other band that’s been as close with their fans as The 1975."
The 1975 will be at the OVO Hydro for the Still… At Their Very Best tour on Thursday, February 8 and Friday, February 9.
