A CHILD was rushed to hospital after being hit by a car in the city's East End.
Emergency services were called to Cumbernauld Road at around 3.05pm yesterday afternoon following a report of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a 9-year-old boy, was taking to hospital for treatment.
His condition is not known.
Glasgow Live reports the incident happened near Haghill Primary School.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.05pm on Friday, 9 February, 2024, we received a report of a crash involving a car and a 9-year-old male pedestrian on Cumbernauld Road, Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and the boy was taken to hospital for treatment.”
