A SECTION of road has been closed to allow essential Scottish Gas works to take place.
Crown Street has been closed northbound at its junction with Ballater Street in the Gorbals.
The closure will affect traffic travelling into the city centre over the Albert Bridge.

A signed diversion will be in place throughout the closure.
It is not currently known how long the road will be closed.
