THE Pavilion Theatre and Imagine Theatre have announced this year's annual pantomime along with some of its star-studded cast.
Beauty and the Beastie will be heading to Glasgow from Thursday, November 28 until Sunday, January 12.
Heading up the cast will be Pavilion favourites Liam Dolan, well-loved duo Grado and Stephen Purdon, Scott Fletcher, Jack Jester and Valissa Scott.
Further casting will be announced soon.
Liam Dolan, who is also presenting his one man show at the theatre on February 24, said: "I’m absolutely delighted to be coming back to The Pavilion for Beauty and the Beastie, I had a great time last year and I can’t wait to get started with the gang."
Life in Cludgie on the Cobbles is quiet and peaceful and Beauty passes her days helping her mother, Professor Porridge and their neighbours Dame Dolly Drumchapel and her son, Hector.
Up in Cludgie Castle, however, things are not so tranquil. The arrogant Prince Lorenzo has had a curse placed on him by an enchantress and must find true love before the final petal falls from a magic rose.
Last year's panto saw the Pavilion team team up with Imagine Theatre for the first time for Treasure Island which was met to great critical and audience acclaim.
Beauty and the Beastie will this year again be co-written by Liam alongside Eric Potts.
Eric said: "I am thrilled to be joining the fabulous Pavilion panto gang again to co-write and co-direct the show with Liam Dolan.
"It is a wonderful venue with such a wonderful history, and it is a real honour to be a small part of that.
"Beauty and the Beastie is going to be a hilarious couple of hours filled with music, mischief and all the usual Pavilion palaver."
Jamie Gordon, theatre director at the Pavilion Theatre, added: "We are thrilled to be working with award-winning Imagine Theatre once again this year after a hugely successful 2023 production.
"We are delighted to have a great cast returning to our stage for what promises to be a fantastic show.
"We are pleased to bring one of the most enchanted stories of them all – Beauty and the Beastie.
"This is another first for the Pavilion and we know it's going to be great fun for the whole family."
Tickets are on sale now.
