A man has been arrested in connection with a series of alleged thefts in Renfrewshire.
Police received reports regarding a "suspicious" man and multiple thefts between Saturday, February 24 and Sunday, February 25 in the Foxbar area and Paisley town centre.
Cops launched a short investigation which led to the arrest of a 65-year-old man.
He will appear in court at a later date having been charged with various crimes of theft and reportedly being within areas where he "intended to commit theft".
A police spokesperson said: "Between February 24 and February 25, police were called to various locations in Foxbar and Paisley town centre following reports of a suspicious male and multiple thefts.
"Police attended and following a number of enquiries, a 65-year-old male was subsequently arrested.
"He will appear at court at a later date having been charged for various crimes of theft and being within areas where he intended to commit theft."
