THE sentencing of one of the killers of schoolgirl Caroline Glachan is to be delayed again as she remains ill.
Donna Marie Brand, 44, along with Robert O'Brien, 45, and Andrew Kelly, 44, were involved in the attack of the 14-year-old before leaving her to drown in the River Leven in West Dunbartonshire on August 25, 1996.
The trio were all convicted of murder following a trial at the High Court in Glasgow last December.
O'Brien and Kelly were handed life sentences - and ordered to serve at least 22 years and 18 years respectively - when they returned to the dock last month.
Brand should have joined the pair back in court for the hearing.
But, her KC Thomas Ross said at the time she had remained unwell since being convicted and was not fit enough to meet a social worker to compile a pre-sentencing report.
Lord Braid adjourned the case against her until March 11.
But, it has emerged the sentencing has been put back again administratively with an April date now set.
Brand is believed to have largely been in hospital since being found guilty and still remains too sick to complete reports requested by the judge.
At the sentencing of O'Brien and Kelly last month, Lord Braid described the killing as "brutal, depraved and wicked".
