A woman has been arrested almost eight months after the death of a man in Paisley.
We previously reported that Robert Fisher was found "seriously injured" in the Maxwellton Street area of the town on Sunday, July 23, 2023.
Following that, the 26-year-old tragically died in hospital on Thursday, July 27, 2023.
Previously, two men, aged 24 and 26 were arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
Now, the force has revealed a 23-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with Robert's death.
She is set to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday, March 11.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "A 23-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man in Paisley.
"Robert Fisher, 26, was found seriously injured in the Maxwellton Street area on Sunday, July 23, and later died in hospital on Thursday, July 27, 2023.
"The woman is due to appear before Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday, March 11, 2024, and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
