A new Amazon series starring Martin Compston has started filming in Glasgow.
Fear is a new three-part psychological thriller about a couple, Martyn (Compston) and Rebecca (Vigil star Anjli Mohindra) who move to the city from London for a fresh start.
Despite arriving in the beautiful, idyllic house, the family are pushed to their absolute limits after a passing comment from a neighbour turns into something far more sinister.
Facing accusations that are every parent's worst nightmare, and with the authorities refusing to step in, Martyn and Rebecca feel they have nowhere to turn to for help.
The Prime Video series also stars Game of Thrones actors James Cosmo and Daniel Portman, Solly McLeod (Tom Jones, The Dead Don’t Hurt), Maureen Beattie (Deadwater Fell, Our House), Anneika Rose (Crossfire, Line of Duty) and Bhav Joshi (Breathtaking, The Diplomat).
Filming is already underway for the series, which will be entirely shot in Glasgow.
Fear is from Wild Mercury, the masters behind hit programmes such as The Rig and The Sixth Commandment, and Capricorn Productions.
It is written by Mick Ford (After the Flood, The Stranger) and is based on the book by Dirk Kurbjuweit.
Fear will be available on Prime Video in the UK and Ireland in 2025.
