POLICE Scotland is investigating "threatening behaviour" targeted at a Dumbarton player.
The incident took place during the League Two clash against East Fife at Bayview Park, in Fife, between 3pm and 4.45pm on Saturday, March 9.
Stevie Farrell's side lost 3-2 in the fixture and currently sit in fourth place in the division.
Cops confirmed enquiries are ongoing and that the matter was reported to them on Monday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Enquiries are ongoing after police received a report of threatening behaviour towards a Dumbarton football player on Saturday, March 9, 2024.
"The matter was reported to police on Monday, March 11, 2024."
