Staff at a garden centre have been reunited with a missing 8ft gorilla statue - well, almost.
The massive fibreglass ape was stolen from Reynard Nursery in Carluke in March 2023, and the team informed the police and issued a Liam Neeson-style appeal to track him down.
Gary was thought to have been sighted on the back of a truck on the M40 motorway in England last year, but the lead ran cold.
Now Reynard Nursery revealed that some of Gary has been found - the back of him.
BEAR Scotland workers spotted the back half of the gorilla abandoned on the A92 between Dundee and Perth last week and immediately got in touch with the garden centre.
Reynard Nursery confirmed that it is the 'back' of Gary that they found and that he has been brought back home.
But the team are still eager to find the rest of him and they feel they are 'closer than ever'.
