A SEARCH is underway for a teenager who was planning to attend a gig in Glasgow.
Rachael Lawrie, 16, was reported missing from Dalkeith on Thursday, April 4.
She was last seen at Eskbank train station in Midlothian at around 11am and is believed to have travelled to Glasgow by train.
Cops have said enquiries suggest Rachael, who has links to Glasgow and Lanark, was planning to attend a concert at the Clyde Rooms in the city's Southside.
Sergeant Ryan Russell said: "Rachael has been reported missing before but concerns are growing for her welfare and we want to make sure she is safe and well.
"She has connections in Glasgow and Lanark.
"If you have seen Rachael or know where she might be then please get in touch with us."
Rachael is described as being around 5ft 8ins tall with a slim build and long brown hair.
She is believed to be wearing a black long-sleeved top, a green gilet and black leggings.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 4196 of Thursday, April 4.
