A CONVICT with links to Glasgow has been reported missing from a Scottish prison.
Police say they are carrying out an investigation to track down prisoner Alexander Sutherland.
The 35-year-old has been reported missing having been on home leave from HMP Castle Huntly in Dundee.
The force say he was reported missing at 7.35pm on Thursday.

Officers believe Sutherland has connections to the Glasgow area, however, he is not deemed a risk to the wider community.
The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) has confirmed the prisoner is "unlawfully at large" and it is working with cops to return him to custody.
Now, police are urging anyone with information on Sutherland's whereabouts to come forward.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Police are carrying out enquiries to trace 35-year-old Alexander Sutherland, a convicted prisoner, who has been reported missing having been on home leave from HMP Castle Huntly.
“He was reported missing to police at 7.35pm on April 11.
“It is believed that Sutherland has connections in the Glasgow area.
"He is not deemed to be a risk to the wider community.
“Anyone with information on his whereabouts can contact police on 101, quoting incident 3285 of April 11.
"Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
A spokesperson for SPS added: "I can confirm this individual is currently unlawfully at large and we are working with Police Scotland to return him to custody.”
