RECOVERY is underway after a crash in Kirkintilloch.
We previously reported that a stretch of the A803 Glasgow Road is shut from the Torrance roundabout to Rob Roy Gardens in the East Dunbartonshire town.
It is believed that a two-car accident has taken place.
Details of any injuries have not been provided.
Cops are at the scene near The Stables pub as well as a recovery firm.
Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
An East Dunbartonshire Council spokesperson said: "Police Scotland has closed the A803 Glasgow Road from Torrance Roundabout to Rob Roy Gardens in Kirkintilloch due to a road traffic accident.
"Please use alternative routes."
