KNIVES Out star Riki Lindhome is set to star as an Oompa Loompa in a stage adaption of the infamous Glasgow Willy Wonka experience.
The actress, who starred in the 2019 film opposite Daniel Craig, will star as the 'depressed' Oompa Loompa which was played by Kirsty Paterson at the disastrous February event, the Daily Record reports.
Actor and yoga teacher Kirsty Paterson, 29, became a viral hit after pictures emerged of her looking sad at the “immersive” £35-a-ticket experience and we previously reported she was set to travel to Los Angeles to take part in a recreation of the botched event on April 28.

Now, Kirsty has revealed Riki will play her in a musical parody of the event which is being produced by Richard Kraft and is expected to debut later this year.
She told the Daily Record: "I met the actress Riki Lindhome who is a really big actress out here in Los Angeles.
"So much so that I was a bit starstruck when I saw her. She is so lovely. She’s involved in a theatre performance of the Glasgow Willy Wonka Experience.
"She is going to play me. I am so excited about that."
Kirsty also said Riki sang one of the songs that will be in the musical for her and let her hear music she had written for the play.

The 'immersive' Willy Wonka Experience in the city's Whiteinch went viral online after angry customers demanded their money back for the £35-a-ticket event when it failed to meet expectations, with some disgruntled parents even calling police.
Despite being promised a 'paradise of sweet treats' and 'enchanting surprises at every turn' there were reports online that children who arrived at the sparsely-decorated warehouse were given one jelly bean and a quarter cup of lemonade, with not a piece of chocolate in sight.
Organisers House of Illuminati cancelled the experience after just half a day on Saturday, February 24 and apologised that it had "fallen short of expectations".
The farcical event became the basis for countless memes and jokes online, with it even being referred to on the legendary US TV show Saturday Night Live.
