A MAN has been charged after police found an "imitation firearm" in Glasgow.
Cops were called to Kay Street, near Springburn Leisure Centre, at around 7pm yesterday evening following a report of a man believed to be in possession of a weapon.
Officers attended and recovered the imitation firearm.
A 28-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7pm on Friday, May 3 police were called to the Kay Street area of Springburn, Glasgow, following a report of a man believed to be in possession of a weapon.
"Officers attended and an imitation firearm was recovered.
"A 28-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident."
