A MAN has been rushed to hospital after he was allegedly 'stabbed' in Cumbernauld.
Emergency services were called to Ash Road at around 8.15pm yesterday following a report of a serious assault.
A 23-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital by ambulance following the incident.

It is understood he had been stabbed. His condition is not known.
Police said an 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the alleged incident.
Enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8.15pm on Friday, 3 May, 2024 officers were called to reports of a serious assault at Ash Road in Cumbernauld.
"Emergency services atteneded and a 23-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital by ambulance.
"An 18-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident. Enquiries are ongoing.”
