A MAN has appeared in court charged with attempted murder amongst other offences following an incident in Ralston yesterday.
Liridon Kastrati made no plea at Paisley Sheriff Court this afternoon.
The 30-year-old, from Paisley, was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
Kastrati is accused of attempted murder, breach of the peace, having an offensive weapon in a public place and four road traffic offences.
These are taking a car without the consent of the owner, dangerous driving, and driving without a licence and insurance.
He will appear again in court within the next eight days.
We previously reported that Glasgow Road was shut off for hours due to the incident on Monday which allegedly involved a chainsaw.
