A fire ripped through a Glasgow block of flats sparking a police probe.
Detectives and fire crews attended Wallace Street after the blaze happened in the early hours of yesterday morning.
A police cordon was erected while investigations continued and no injuries were reported.
Images show the building blackened by the flames and windows broken, while debris scattered the street.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 4.36am on Thursday, May 16, to reports of a fire within a block of flats on Centre Street, Glasgow.
"Operations Control immediately mobilised five fire appliances and a height vehicle to the scene and firefighters extinguished the fire.
"Crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 6.15am on Thursday, 16 May, 2024, we were called to a report of a fire at a premises on Wallace Street, Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended and the fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
"There are no reported injuries.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has been contacted for a comment.
