A man was rushed to hospital after being brutally attacked in Glasgow.
Police say the incident took place on Hecla Avenue in Drumchapel shortly after 6pm on Friday, May 31.
The force revealed they were called to a serious assault in the area.
Following that, a 52-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
An investigation has since been launched into the incident.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 6.20pm on Friday, May 31, 2024 officers were called to a report of a serious assault on Hecla Avenue, Glasgow.
"A 52-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital by ambulance.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
