AN investigation has been launched following the "unexplained" death of a man in Glasgow.
We previously reported emergency services were called to Byres Road at around 6.50am this morning (June 8) after they were made aware of concern for a person.
Police confirmed the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A picture shows a blue tent erected outside German Doner Kebab.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and an eyewitness told the Glasgow Times they saw two forensics officers in attendance.
It is understood Byres Road is currently closed from Torness Street to Coopers Well Street while Dumbarton Road is closed between Benalder Street and Church Street.
People are being urged to avoid the area and use alternative routes.
