Plans have been submitted to Renfrewshire Council for major works at McDonald’s at Braehead.
The application outlines proposals to extend the restaurant off King’s Inch Drive by 37 square metres and carry out alterations and refurbishments.
These include a relocated entrance within a new lobby, replacement drive thru booths and an extended store room.
As part of the works, new door and window openings would be formed and existing external patio furniture would be removed and replaced and new, additional barriers would also be installed.
The plans also propose new full height glazing, the introduction of window vinyl and a new access door.
New tables, chairs and booths would also be fitted and the toilets would be fully refurbished.
Furthermore, if approved, a new McDelivery area would be created.
The application for Unit K at the Braehead Retail Park is currently awaiting decision.
It was submitted by McDonald’s Restaurants Limited on Monday, June 10 and validated by the council the same day.
