ONE person has been rushed to hospital following a crash on the M8 near Glasgow Airport.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 7.30am this morning following a report of a two-vehicle crash.
The Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) sent one ambulance and two special operations response team to the incident.
One person was taken to Royal Alexandria Hospital.
Their condition is not known.
An SAS spokesperson said: "We received a call at 7.28am to attend a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the M8, near Glasgow Airport.
"We dispatched one ambulance and two special operations response team (SORT).
"One patient was transported to Royal Alexandra Hospital."
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
