Verdict: Four stars.
Glasgow’s very own Travis took to the Hydro stage for a test run ahead of their headlining show at the venue in December.
The indie rockers were in town to support The Killers who are playing three shows at the Finnieston music arena this week.
Opening up with Sing and then launching into Driftwood, frontman Fran Healy showcased his velvet smooth voice beautifully signalling the start of things to come.

The 50-year-old then joked: “Evening Glasgow, I know you are all here to see us.
“We are warm act up tonight.”
But it was clear that Travis are not your average support slot.
The 2001 single Side proved to be a highlight - with the band dedicating the hit to The Killers who routinely performed it when they first started gigging.
He then said with a smile and joked: “This is nice. We are going to be playing here in December, of course The Killers will be supporting us then.”
Switching things up for his hometown, Healy proclaimed that it wasn’t on the set list as he launched into the 1999 single Turn.
He said: “I would like to dedicate this song to us, this amazing city, and you.”
Flowers in the Window and Why Does It Always Rain Me rounded off the set in style.
Healy said: “It is one of the honours of our career to come on stage before our friends of 20 years The Killers.”
