AN INVESTIGATION has been launched following a robbery in Renfrewshire.
Cops are carrying out enquiries near a row of shops on Tandlehill Road, in Kilbarchan - a village near Johnstone.
It is believed the Day-Today store was targeted.
Several CID officers were spotted at the scene shortly before 9am.
Further up on Tandlehill Road, at the junction with Milliken Park Road, two police officers in a vehicle are guarding a green wheelie bin.
The bin has a large item inside covered in tinfoil and police tape.
Earlier this morning, officers were spotted searching the area with police dogs.
Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 4.15am on Friday, June 28, to a report of a housebreaking at a premises on Tandlehill Road in Johnstone.
