Road to close close during Scottish Water works - Here's when (Image: Newsquest)
A section of road next to Auchenback Community Park in Barrhead is to close next month.
Arthurlie Avenue will be shut between its junctions with Burnbank Drive and Aurs Glen on Monday, July 15 between 9am and 6pm.
The closure will allow for Scottish Water ironworks repairs to take place on or near the road.
All vehicles will be subject to the restriction except those associated with the works and emergency service vehicles attending an incident.
The alternative route for drivers will be as follows: Arthurlie Avenue - Weir Avenue - Arthurlie Street - Aurs Drive - Roebank Drive and vice versa.
