A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after an early morning crash in Glasgow.
Emergency services responded to the scene at junction 1A of the M74 after the alarm was raised at around 1.50am on Tuesday.
It is understood that the collision involved a car and a motorbike.
Police confirmed a 28-year-old man, the rider of the motorbike, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called to the M74 near junction 1A around 1.50am on Tuesday, June 2, 2024, following a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a car and motorbike.
“Emergency services attended and the rider of the motorbike, a 28-year-old man, was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.”
