A Glasgow city centre restaurant has 'unexpectedly' closed its doors after three years.
Italian spot Doppio Malto, located at number 7 George Square, has shut.
Staff shared the news on social media, and thanked customers who supported them during their time in the city.
A reason for the closure was not given.
A spokesperson said: "Doppio Malto has closed its doors in Glasgow. Thank you to everyone that has been a part of our journey and who found Un Posto Felice with us over the last 3 years."
Regular customers shared their shock and sadness at the news.
One wrote: "What a shame, great place. Had many good nights both working and eating/drinking here."
Another added: "Aww I wasn’t expecting this, thank you for all the good times!"
A third wrote: "Oh no, what a loss, such great memories in there."

The Italian chain opened its first UK restaurant in the 8000 square feet space after Jamie's Italian, led by celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, closed in 2019.
Their CEO and founder, Giovanni Porcu, previously said: "At the very heart of Doppio Malto is our motto “un posto felice” - a ‘happy place’.
"Everything we do is designed around feeling good - from the food and beer to the service and physical space, and we are so excited to bring this unique concept to the UK for the very first time."
Doppio Malto has dozens of locations in Italy, some in France and one in Newcastle.
The menu offered a wide selection of Italian dishes such as homemade pizzas, pasta, speciality meats cooked on the grill and desserts.
