SEVERAL roads in Glasgow are set to close for the filming of a reimagined children's story for the BBC.
Glasgow City Council announced the closures on its website.
Filming for the broadcasting giant's adaption of The Primrose Railway Children - written by Dame Jacqueline Wilson - will take place from Sunday, July 7 to Tuesday, July 16.
Dame Jacqueline's story was inspired by Edith Nesbit's original novel written in 1905.
It was published in 2021 and follows Phoebe who lives with her mother and her siblings who are adjusting to a new life after their father suddenly disappears.
Her modern version will form a feature-length, 90-minute-long episode.
