A person is in hospital following a crash involving a van and a mobility scooter in Glasgow.
Emergency services responded to the scene on Paisley Road West after the alarm was raised at around 11am on Friday.
Police confirmed the owner of the mobility scooter was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 11am on Friday, July 5, 2024, we received a report of a crash involving a van and a mobility scooter which happened on Paisley Road West in Glasgow.
"The owner of the mobility scooter was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment."
Glasgow City Council confirmed that Paisley Road West is shut to all eastbound traffic at Corkerhill Road whilst crews deal with the incident.
Traffic is being diverted onto Corkerhill Road and drivers are advised to seek alternate routes.
