A new live music event is looking for an aspiring DJ to perform at their inaugural festival in Glasgow.
The Hennessey Presents M4 Festival is scheduled for August 3 at the Barras Art and Design and brings a blend of hip hop, rap, grime, R&B, afro beat, and acoustic music.
The organisers are giving one talented DJ a chance to showcase their skills and play with an expansive line-up during the one-day event.
To apply, applicants must be over 18 years old and play a one-hour set on August 3.
The registration link is https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/789FDZN and the deadline is midday on July 17.
The lucky winner will be announced on July 24.
Tickets are available now at www.gigsinscotland.com.
The festival is curated by Bemz, the festival founder who is also DJ Mag’s Breakthrough MC/Vocalist Best of British Award winner and judge for BBC Introducing’s Scottish Act of the Year 2024.
The event encourages diversity and inclusion, with performances spread over two stages.
Bemz said: “Getting an opportunity to play is festival is something I prayed for as a up and coming artist.
"I am now in a position where we can give the opportunity to give back to someone who’s at that stage of their journey. Look forward to hearing all the mixes.”
