Scottish singer Tallia Storm brought superstar energy to the smallest TRNSMT stage on Friday as she kicked off an early set at the festival.

Backed by four dancers, she opened up her show at the River Stage with the Destiny Child's banger Say My Name.

Oozing with confidence, the singer looked incredible in a sheer blue and red maxi dress.

Initially, the crowd was small given the unfortunate early slot the star had been dealt with but more fans gathered as she turned up the volume.

She said with a smile:  “TRNSMT, how are we doing right now?

“We have a very good looking crowd.”

She then added: “I am very grateful to every single one of you who came. It’s 1pm and I wouldn’t be here this early. Shout out to everyone of you.”

The former Celebs Go Dating star, from Glasgow, sounded at ease with her own tracks Ballers and Boyfriend, the pop r’n’b tinged songs showed promise of her offering as a singer.

It was however a cover of the iconic CeCe Peniston’s Finally that proved to be the highlight of the set with the crowd singing in unison. Used Girl completed the set and was packed with attitude which showed off her vocal range beautifully.
