A MAN has pleaded guilty to making a threat of violence towards the founder of a Glasgow homeless charity.
Edward Henry, 56, behaved in a threatening or abusive manner through social media network sites by repeatedly uttering inflammatory remarks relating to Colin McInnes - who runs Homeless Project Scotland - and uttering a threat of violence towards him.
The incidents took place between January 1, 2023 and November 11, 2023, at Henry's home address, Argyle Street in Glasgow, and other locations.

Henry, of Carluke, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on July 10 where he pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
Sheriff Mary Shields deferred sentence to August for a criminal justice social work report to be prepared.
