Verdict: Five stars.
Scottish rockers Travis made their TRNSMT debut with a surprise show in the hangout.
The Glasgow band were not on the bill for the city festival on Friday but they managed to shock fans as they jumped on the smallest stage at the event to perform the best of their back catalogue.
Opening up the proceedings with Sing, frontman Fran Healy calmly said: “Hi everyone, we’re called Travis.”
The atmosphere was electric as revellers sang every word back in unison to the band.
Taken aback Healy said: “Oh my God.”
Driftwood and Side quickly followed and had the crowd pinching themselves and wondering, is this really happening?
Sporting his new brightly coloured hair, Healy then joked: “If anyone is wondering, yes I drank too much Irn-Bru.”

Veterans of T in the Park, Travis are the sort of band you need at a festival like this.
They played anthem after anthem including Flowers in the Window and Turn to perfection, showcasing the beautiful tones in Healy’s voice.
He said: “Wow, you’re really amazing. Thanks so much for singing along. F***ing brilliant.”
Finishing off in style with Why Does It Rain On Me? Healy revealed the band’s 10th studio album LA Times is out today.
As festival boss Geoff Ellis watched over the set, he added: “ Thank you coming! We have got to f**k off.”
Geoff, you know you want them as headliners.
