Verdict: Four stars

Dylan John Thomas put on a magnetic show at TRNSMT today.

Swaggering onto the main stage as cool as you like, the Glasgow superstar kicked off his set with his tune Jenna as he asked the crowd: "Yous alright TRNSMT, what's happening?"

As he went on to sing hits like Feel The Fire and Nobody Else, Thomas couldn't help but flash a few cheeky smiles at the outrageously energetic Glasgow Green crowd.

As the set went on, the star wasn't shy to show off his range as he played some slower numbers like his gut-wrenching tune Wake Up Ma, which touches on his experiences of growing up in foster care.

Introducing the song, Thomas joked: "This is the first song I wrote about things growing up without sounding like Annie."

Before finishing off with his big hit, Fever, Thomas kept the crowd hooked despite the start of a slight downpour as he covered ABBA's Mamma Mia.

Finishing up, he said: "TRNSMT, you's have been bouncing. We've got a wee show at the (OVO) Hydro at the end of the year, we'll see yous there."
