Verdict: Four stars.
Gerry Cinnamon had a belter of a time as he headlined TRNSMT tonight.
The Castlemilk man, who first played on the King Tut's stage at the city festival in 2017, closed day two of TRNSMT 2024.
Walking out in a black overcoat and flat cap, Cinnamon was quick to deceive attendees of his mystery and edge as he jumped and danced about the stage to his opening tune.
Shouting: "What the f*** is happening TRNSMT?", the star was buzzing from the word go - and it did not waver once.
Laughing in disbelief between tunes like Where We're Going, the singer seemed in total shock as the crowd roared lyrics and gave their all.
It was in these moments that it seemed Cinnamon became aware of his own success story.
Clapping and hailing the crowd after his tunes, Cinnamon said: "I promised myself I wouldn't get emotional tonight."
The 39-year-old used his set to spread positive messages of taking care of each other as well as to show off his musical talents as he played harmonica, guitar and sang at the same time.
Exploding into his hit tune Belter towards the end of his set, the crowd quickly erupted, leaving Cinnamon laughing. He said: "Yas man, you's alright?"
The singer also had plenty of fire, fireworks and even huge yellow balloons to make sure no one left the gig without having some fun.
Finishing on Canter, Cinnamon was met with a sea of here we f***ing go - much to his amusement.
Watching Gerry Cinnamon close the main stage tonight was seeing a guy from Glasgow's dreams come true in real time.
What a way to end day two.
