TWO brothers attacked a man leaving him with a shoe print on his face after an argument broke out in Glasgow city centre.

The male victim and two other people were walking towards the St Enoch Centre at around 5.45pm on September 28, 2023.

At this time Shane McCann and Brian McCann approached the group and a verbal argument started.

Shane McCann, 28, then punched the man in the face.

A short struggle took place which resulted in both men falling to the ground.

Brian McCann, 37, got involved kicking the man to the face causing bruising and leaving a shoe print marked on his face.

Police were contacted and shortly after traced the brothers at High Street.

Both were arrested and taken to London Road police station where they were cautioned and charged and made no reply.

In an earlier separate incident on September 20, 2022, police were on patrol in the Maryhill area when they saw a vehicle, a Ford Focus, which was stopped for a check.

Details were taken from the driver and Shane McCann who was in the passenger seat.

Officers noted a smell of cannabis coming from the vehicle.

Both men were detained and a black rucksack was recovered from the passenger's foot well.

The bag contained 33 bags of cocaine – with a value of £2400 - along with scales and small bags.

Both men were taken to London Road police station where they were cautioned and charged and made no reply.
