A planning application has been submitted to East Renfrewshire Council to flatten a rot and damp ridden home.
Those behind the proposal hope to demolish the property known as “Brookside” on Eaglesham’s Floors Road and replace it with a futuristic-looking new energy efficient home.
The existing house, which is formed over two levels and is in “very poor condition”, has been extended on both sides and to the rear.
According to planning documents, the extensions are of “poor design and built quality, with roof coverings and edge details failing.”
The proposed new house would feature curved walls and a flat roof.
Downstairs, it would boast a workshop, bedroom, snug, living area, dining kitchen and utility.
Upstairs would feature a master bedroom with ensuite, further bedroom, attic store and bathroom.
