A person has been hit by a train in North Lanarkshire.
ScotRail said they received reports that a person had been struck by a train between Wishaw and Coatbridge at around 11pm on Friday, July 19.
During the incident, the rail firm said they were working closely with emergency crews.
The British Transport Police has been contacted for comment.

A spokesperson for ScotRail said: "Unfortunately we have had reports of a person being struck by a train between Wishaw and Coatbridge.
"We are working closely with emergency services during this time."
