Drivers on a busy road are facing two weeks of road closures next month.
During phase one, Lochlibo Road in Neilston will shut from its junction with Holehouse Brae up to a point of approximately 500 metres eastwards from its junction with Holehouse Brae.
During phases two, the road will be shut from a point of approximately 120 metres south-westwards from its junction with Holehouse Brae up to and including its junction with Holehouse Brae.
The closures will allow for resurfacing works to take place on or near the road.
The works are anticipated to take place from Monday, August 19 until Sunday, September 1.
The closures will only be in force between the contractors working hours of 9am and 4pm.
All vehicles will be subjected to the restriction except those associated with the works and emergency vehicles attending an incident.
The alternative routes for drivers will be as follows:
Phase 1 – Holehouse Brae, Main Street, Neilston Road, Lochlibo Road and vice versa.
Phase 2 – Lochlibo Road, Neilston Road, Main Street, Uplawmoor Road, Neilston Road,, Lochlibo Road and vice versa.
