Police have shut down a street over an ongoing incident in Dumbarton.
Officers have been pictured on a residential estate this afternoon along with fire crews.
Merkins Avenue in Bellsmyre was closed off for investigations but the nature of the incident remains unknown at this time.

One eyewitness said: “Police have shut the road, there’s at least three fire engines and a ladder going up into the window of one of the flats”
Another witness claimed: “There was a very serious fire on Merkins Avenue in Bellsmyre this afternoon.”
Glasgow Times contacted Police for a comment.
