Emirates will be holding a cabin crew recruitment open day at a Glasgow hotel.
The Dubai-based airline is looking for Scottish candidates to join its global 21,500-strong cabin crew team.
The open day will take place on August 18 at the Radisson Blu Hotel.
The event is part of a global recruitment drive to employ 5,000 cabin crew members across six continents by 2024.
The airline is encouraging fresh graduates with internships or part-time jobs on their resumes, or who have at least a year of hospitality or customer service experience, and individuals who want to start a career travelling the world, to apply.
Go to https://www.emiratesgroupcareers.com/cabin-crew for the full eligibility criteria and to register for the open day.
In addition to the open day, Emirates is also accepting online applications and walk-ins.
The only prerequisite for walk-ins is an updated CV in English and a recent photograph.
Robyn Clark, a UK national who recently joined the cabin crew team in February 2023, said: “Working for Emirates is a job like no other. From the day I got the call to boarding every flight, I feel so proud of what I’ve accomplished.
"Putting on the iconic Emirates uniform every morning is a feeling I can’t explain – this really is a dream come true.
"I will always be grateful to Emirates for the memories I’ve made, the amazing experiences I’ve had travelling the world, and being able to come back from my journeys to Dubai – one of the safest and most vibrant cities globally – that I now call home.”
The airline's cabin crew enjoys various benefits, including a tax-free salary and flying pay, hotel stays, layover expenses, travel concessions, furnished accommodation, and medical, life, and dental insurance coverage.
