TWO schoolchildren were robbed at knifepoint for a scooter in a Glasgow park.
The 13 and 14-year-olds, who were playing in Tollcross Park in the city's East End, were approached by two "unknown males".
The cruel pair threatened the youngsters with a knife and demanded the older boy hand over his electric scooter.
They then left in the direction of Tollcross Road with the scooter.
Police revealed the incident took place on Thursday, July 18, between 6pm and 6.30pm at the burn between Winter Gardens and the children's farm.
Officers are now appealing for information to help trace the pair.
They are described as being black, aged in their late teens to early twenties, with English accents.
One of them has brown hair and was wearing a black Nike jacket, black Lacoste tracksuit bottoms and green Nike 95 trainers.
The other was wearing a black Berghaus jacket, black trousers and grey trainers.
Constable Lauren Moffat said: "We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or saw the males in the park, to please contact us."
Anyone who can assist is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting reference CR/0272141/24.
Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.
