A MAN has been charged in connection with a fatal crash in Blantyre.
The incident, which is said to have involved a flatbed vehicle and a pedestrian, took place on Glasgow Road at around 5.55pm on December 19, 2023.
The 84-year-old pedestrian, who was named as Robert Shira-Gibb, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he died the next day.

Now, officers say a 54-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
