ScotRail has warned passengers that restrictions have been put in place on Glasgow trains today due to heavy rain.
The company told commuters to plan ahead as blanket speed restrictions have been implemented on several lines.
These may cause delays and alterations to services.
Areas affected are:
Queen Street - Oban - Mallaig
Glasgow Central - Barrhead - Kilmarnock - Carlisle
Glasgow Central - Stranraer
Glasgow Central - Largs - Ardrossan Harbour
Glasgow Central - Ayr.
This comes as a yellow weather warning is in place across Glasgow for "heavy rain" until midnight.

On X, the train operator said:
"Due to adverse weather conditions we have implemented various blanket emergency speed restrictions across some areas of our network.
"Speed restrictions will often result in extended journey times or alterations. Please check your entire journey before travelling."
