THE SQA has apologised following reports pupils received "blank emails" instead of their results.
We told how a number of people had taken to social media to say their children were receiving emails or texts which did not show the grades.
The SQA posted a statement on Twitter/X shortly before 9am saying it was “working urgently to resolve an issue impacting candidates who signed up to receive their results by email only”.
The statement said: “We know there is an issue impacting candidates who signed up to receive their results by email only.
“We are working urgently to resolve the issue. Texts are not impacted and the vast majority of learners who signed up to MySQA are receiving their as expected.
“All learners across Scotland will also receive their physical certificate today via post.”
A separate statement sent to The National around 9.30am said the issue had been resolved.
"We have resolved a technical issue that impacted candidates who signed up to receive their results by email only using the MySQA service," the statement said.
"Texts were not impacted and the vast majority of learners who signed up to MySQA received their results as expected.
"We apologise for any concern caused to learners who experienced a delay before receiving their MySQA email with their results attached."
