CTD Tiles filed a notice of intention to appoint administrators on Monday.
This reportedly provides ten days of security to find a buyer before the company officially heads into administration.

The Newcastle-based tile supplier has around 87 stores and warehouses across the UK including Helen Street in Govan, London Road in the East End, and Coatdyke Retail Park in Coatbridge.
It employs around 400 people and supplies ceramic tiles to commercial and resident customers, including large housebuilders.
CTD was acquired by former Body Shop owner Aurelius in 2022.
Aurelius has been contacted for comment.
