A warning has been issued to drivers as part of Glasgow's M8 will be closed until September.
Amey - on behalf of Transport Scotland - is undertaking essential overnight maintenance on the eastbound carriageway of the motorway between Junction 18 (Charing X) and 16 (Craighall).
The work is being carried out in multiple phases throughout 2024.

Now, the road firm says the next phase of the work is taking place from Sunday, August 11 (yesterday) until Friday, September 6, from 10pm until 6am, each night, excluding Fridays and Saturdays.
Amey says the work will be completed using overnight road closures only, however, a signed diversion will be in place for motorists.
The diversion is as follows:
- M8 Eastbound closure traffic will be directed off at Junction 18 (St George’s Road) onto northbound St George’s Road. Traffic will then follow the diversion onto southbound Garscube Road for Dobbie’s Loan and back onto Junction 16 (Craighall).
